Savannah Chrisley’s estranged sister Lindsie Chrisley called out “heartbreaking” backlash over the Growing Up Chrisley star’s pregnancy with husband Jason Galanis, who was imprisoned with their dad Todd Chrisley before receiving a presidential pardon last year. “I want to congratulate my sister on her pregnancy,” Lindsie began on the Nov. 4 episode of her Southern Tea podcast, before addressing online criticism over her sister’s baby news. “The things that I have seen posted all week long is truly heartbreaking to me. I don’t know why people relish in other people’s downfall, and it’s not a downfall, right?” She continued, “To take such a bright, happy moment and something that somebody has waited for such a long period of time, and to turn that into a traumatic experience is awful.” Lindsie also briefly touched on Savannah’s relationship with Jason—who the Growing Up Chrisley star initially said she was engaged to in her pregnancy announcement before revealing that the pair had quietly married earlier this year—congratulating the couple on their “engagement or marriage, whichever that may be.”
