John Frieda, celebrity hairstylist and creator of the groundbreaking Frizz Ease brand, is dead at the age of 75. John styled celebs including Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow and more. In the late ’70s, he made a name for himself by creating the ‘Purdey’ bowl cut for actress Joanna Lumley, which was later made famous in the US by Princess Diana. John is survived by his wife, Avery, three children and one stepdaughter.
